OUR PROGRAMS

Our day care programs and curriculum focus on active learning at the center. It’s the foundation where young children gain knowledge through their natural play and interactions with the environment, events, and other people.

Our staff is mindful of observing adult-child interaction, creating schedules and routines and adjusting the environment to fit the needs of each age group. Ongoing child development at our center includes hands-on learning, music and movement, language development, discovery, exploration, arts and crafts.

We focus on supporting early learners as they make decisions, build academic skills, develop socially and emotionally, and become part of a classroom community. Teachers act as partners, working alongside children and communicating with them both verbally and nonverbally to encourage learning.

The room is organized and labeled to promote independence and encourage children to carry out their intentions. A consistent framework for the day provides a balanced variety of experiences and learning opportunities. Ongoing objective observations of children are assessed throughout children’s natural play to allow teachers to assess child progress and plan meaningful learning experiences.
